It’s one of the most exciting weeks of summer camp at Town – back by popular demand – the Musical Theatre Bootcamp! We’ll focus on different aspects of your selected show. The week will include everything from scene study to musical numbers incorporating vocals and dance; and we will work on a costume or prop creation as well! Combining all the elements makes this an immersive week in theatre arts, bringing the whole musical theatre experience together.

You’ll participate in a joint showcase ON THE TOWN THEATRE STAGE on Friday evening, June 19 at 7:00 PM. Cost of camp includes two showcase tickets as well as costume/prop supply cost. Additional $5 tickets will be available for purchase.

Ever wonder what would happen if Cinderella didn’t find her prince or if Jack decided to not climb that beanstalk? Things certainly would have turned out different, wouldn’t they? If you enjoy creating new twists and turns, you will love bringing your creativity to the stage to make your very own fairy tale. We’ll take elements of favorite stories, put them in a grab bag and create our own mixed up fairy tale. With our story crafted, we’ll take it to the stage – and present it at the end of the week!

The good guy always wins in the end, right? Well, not in THIS camp. Come be a part of one of our very popular camp offerings where students will explore some of the “bad guys” like Cinderella’s Stepmother and Stepsister, Mrs. Trunchbull from Matilda, Gaston and Lefou from Beauty and the Beast and many more! A sinister and sneaky mash-up showcase will be the culminating result of our week of mayhem!

Sing ~ Dance ~ Act! You can have it all! Join us for an all-in (yet extremely rewarding!) camp for students who are eager to explore performing on a regular basis and perhaps even study theatre in high school and/or college. We’ll spend our days developing performance pieces (scenes as well as musical selections) that focus on the whole performer (vocals, movement, and character). Enjoy learning from diverse faculty with expertise in their focus area. An end-of-week showcase will allow students to present their hard work to friends and family.

A typical day at Triple Threat includes group warmups followed by small group work in tap, musical theatre dance, voice work and scene study. Enjoy learning from diverse faculty with expertise in their focus area. A lunch break takes place at midday where we will relax before an afternoon of continued study. An end-of-day debrief concludes each session. At week’s end, we’ll present a showcase for friends and family.
