TOWN TEEN TROUPE (T3)
T3’s mission is to provide musical theatre/performing arts development and performance experiences for older youth at Town Theatre – typically those in 9th through 12th grades. T3 students are introduced to multiple faculty and guest artists who focus on PROCESS. By honing their vocal, dance and dramatic skills, students gain performance experiences that are intentional and unique. T3 focuses both on ensemble work AND individual progress for each student.
T3 Masterclass Series 2026-2027
T3 is getting a fresh new format this year ~ and we’re excited about it! Rather than meeting every week, T3 students will gather once a month for an immersive Masterclass Series designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare them for the next level of their theatre journey. Each masterclass will offer a new experience, skill, or guest teaching artist. The monthly format is designed to respect the very busy schedules of our students and faculty. And there’s a performance opportunity on the horizon! In the spring, T3 will come together for a special performance that we hope will coincide with Arts in the Acres. Students will perform two group pieces with their T3 ensemble and will also have the opportunity to showcase their individual talents through solos, duets or small-group performances. It’s a chance for students not only to learn, but to find their voice, take creative risks and shine onstage. Joy Alexander, Amanda Hines Wrona and Shannon Scruggs will serve as the primary T3 leadership.
Limited to just 15 students!
With a small-group format, every student gets the opportunity to participate, learn from working theatre artists, and develop their own performance work.
Class dates for T3 are currently set for Mondays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. If a date needs to change to reflect the schedule of a masterclass teacher or for a field trip, we will give plenty of notice. Masterclass sessions MAY be held at another location besides Town Theatre.
