Marybeth Berry, Youth Theatre.

Berry

Marybeth Berry is an Associate Professor of Theatre and Speech at the University of South Carolina Lancaster. She minored in theater at Longwood College, pursued her graduate degree at Actors Studio in New York City and completed her MFA in Theatre at Rhode Island College under the prestigious Macedonian director, Naum Panovski. Theatre Association. She is currently certified as one of only a few teachers in the expressive actor method. Most recently, she was honored to play the role of Donna in Town Theatre’s Mamma Mia last May and is the director of Baskerville which runs in January.



Megan Douthitt, Youth Theatre.

Douthitt

Megan has been on the Town stage in Mary Poppins, Miracle on 34th Street, Willy Wonka and Matilda. She has worked at Town since 2016 in the box office and with our youth theatre program. She continues to serve as the lead arts faculty for our school theatre initiative. Megan holds her Bachelor of Arts, Theatre Arts degree from Rowan University in New Jersey.



Kathy Seppamaki, Voice/Youth Theatre.

Kathy has been active on stage in Columbia for more than two decades and has performed shows like Nice Work if You Can Get It (Duchess) and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Muriel). She worked for more than twenty years as a choir director and began musically directing shows in Columbia in 2016. As a vocal coach, she currently has students performing on Broadway, Disney and on stage around the world.


Hannah Thompson, Voice.

Hannah Thompson, Voice, earned a BM in Music Education from Belmont University. And she graduated with her MM in Voice Performance from the University of South Carolina in May 2019, where she was a student of Dr. Tina Stallard. She appeared as the Baker’s Wife in Town’s production of Into the Woods. She has frequently performed in operatic productions with Belmont University Opera Theater, Opera at USC, Miami Summer Music Festival and most recently made her European debut as Sister Genevieve in the 2019 Varna International Music Academy’s production of Suor Angelica in Varna, Bulgaria


Scott Vaughan, Youth Theatre.

Vaughan

Scott Vaughan serves as the theatre instructor at Satchel Ford Elementary School and, in this capacity, brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and talent to the Town Theatre Youth program. Scott has performed on the Town stage as well as throughout our local community and the country. Scott hopes to appear on stage again soon!
