June 14-18 – MUSICAL THEATRE BOOTCAMP WEEK!

Rising K to rising 4th grade ~ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Rising 5th to rising 7th grade ~ 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Rising 8th through high school ~ 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Based on our popular Winter 2021 class sessions, this camp is the perfect “all in one” musical theatre experience! A name-recognized show will be selected as our focus piece – think Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver!, The Wiz, Cinderella, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, High School Musical, Charlie Brown, Hamilton and MORE! Shows will be age-appropriate and the final selection will be made by teachers once class enrollment is complete. Students will focus on a different aspect of the show and will work toward presentation pieces for the showcase. For example, if a class is assigned Matilda, the class will learn 2-3 performance numbers from Matilda that incorporate different types of dance. Scenes will be created to allow each student the opportunity to work on character development and line delivery. In addition, students will work on costume and/or prop creation – bringing the whole musical theatre experience together in one capsule. NOTE: Students who participated in our Winter 2021 Bootcamps can be assured that you will not duplicate the show you have already worked on.

All MUSICAL THEATRE BOOTCAMPS will have a joint showcase ON THE TOWN THEATRE STAGE on Friday evening, June 18 at 7:00 PM. Cost of camp includes two showcase tickets as well as costume/prop supply cost which will be sent home with the student. Additional $5 showcase tickets should be available for purchase.
