Children are naturally gifted storytellers and this camp is designed to get those creative juices flowing! Rising 5th to 9th Grade
Explore songs and scenes from the upcoming shows of the 102nd mainstage season: 42nd Street, Elf, The Red Velvet Cake Wars, Bright Star and Jekyll & Hyde. Many of our youth performers have expressed their excitement over participating in mainstage shows and taking on challenging roles. We think they ought to have that chance! This week will be focused on learning about different styles of musical theatre, using the upcoming 102nd season as examples. We will pull appropriate scenes and songs from those shows to put the lessons into action and a showcase will be presented at week’s end for family and friends.
