Guys and Dolls
Kyle Collins (the devil in Damn Yankees) takes the role of Sky Masterson, the high-rolling gambler who is willing to bet on virtually anything. Enter Nathan Detroit (played by Lee O. Smith, soon to appear as Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast) who makes a bet with Sky that he believes he cannot lose. So, there are two of the “guys” – what about the “dolls”? Enter Miss Sarah Brown (Becca Rietz from Cats), the straight-walking sergeant of the Save-a-Soul Mission and the center of Nathan’s bet with Sky. Also enter Miss Adelaide (Abigail Smith from West Side Story), Nathan’s fiance of fourteen years. The roll of the dice produced Bobby Craft as Nicely-Nicely Johnson (a role he portrayed in the previous two productions of Guys and Dolls) and Gerald Floyd (Skimbleshanks, the railway cat in Cats) as General Arvide Abernathy.

Who wins the bet? Why, you, the audience of course. With songs such as “Take Back Your Mink,” “Luck Be A Lady,” “Adelaide’s Lament” and “A Bushel and a Peck,” the odds are better than ten to one you’ll hit the jackpot of enjoyment. So, “follow the fold and stray no more” to Town with this energetic, talented cast of more than twenty-five for Guys and Dolls.
